Your role as an Officer Records will involve:

Liaise across all departments in support of record management requirements and develop records management procedures and training materials to deliver to all staff.

Apply vital records and disaster management policies and procedures to ensure identified records are protected and preserved and coordinate the management of onsite and offsite records collections.

Ensure the accurate creation and storage of physical and digital records within the EDRMS.

Ensure physical and digital records are retained and disposed of in accordance with an approved disposal authority and assist staff in the preparation, recording, authorisation & transfer of archive records to offsite storage.

Assist internal and external audits.

Integrate with the team to cross train.

Experience:

Formal qualifications in Records Management from an accredited institution is desirable.

Demonstrated experience applying the Principles & Standards of the State Records Act (WA) 2000, and within an EDRMS.

Good technical knowledge and willingness to learn new systems of records as they are rolled out.
