Opportunity to partake and assist in record management projects across a large tertiary education instituteBase Salary (HEO4) $77,144 - $81,511 + 17% superannuationAbout the opportunityThe Archives and Record Management Services is seeking a Records Officer to act as a supporting project assist to the implementation of recordkeeping systems and practices in accordance with the University's Recordkeeping Policy 2017 and related procedures.Within this position the incumbent will provide project support resources across all stages of solutions development, testing and go live to ensure the successful delivery of recordkeeping systems and practice across the University.Your key responsibilities will be to:Perform rigorous testing on a suite of recordkeeping systems and interfacesSupport all aspects of the delivery activities by the project team,Support the transitioning process by assisting with the training and formulation of support material (documentation)Assist with the primary function of the projects team in the timely completion of deliverablesProvides support for the University's recordkeeping systems and practices consistent with the Recordkeeping Policy 2017Desired criteriaHold an understanding of the structure and working processes within tertiary education institutionsexperience in delivering system training and materials.About youHold qualifications of Associate Diploma or Certificate IV in Records Management or relevant Tertiary qualifications, or 3 years equivalent professional experience working within records or information managementhold a valid NSW Drivers Licenceproven experience in testing systems in UAT and Produciton environments, and/or practice to meet business needs based on legislation, industry standards and University policies.demonstrated solid knowledge of all aspects with regards to the record or information management systems, and demonstrated experience in base level system trouble shootinghigh level written and oral communication skills, with the ability to liaise with staff internally and externally.To keep our community safe, please be aware of our COVID safety precautions which form our conditions of entry for all staff, students and visitors coming to campus.Sponsorship / work rights for AustraliaPlease note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
