Brisbane Government / Local Government State Government Brisbane -hybrid role 6 months contract- potential to extent Attractive hourly rate We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Records Management Support Officer to join a great Government department in Brisbane.
In this role, you will provide essential support and guidance to customers, ensuring effective management of documents and records in compliance with established policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Offer expert support for records management activities, including scanning, filing, archiving, and disaster recovery.
Assist in implementing and maintaining records management policies, procedures, and systems.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests through various channels such as phone, online chat, and email.
Promote records management services to ensure compliance with state retention and disposal schedules.
Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional customer service.
About You: Knowledge of records management practices, legislation, and procedures.
Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to provide effective solutions.
Proven ability to manage workloads and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in public sector records management is highly desirable.
