Business/Systems Analysts (Information & Communication Technology)The Role:Are you a Records Management Specialist looking to broaden your skillset? Perhaps you are craving more exposure to various modern records management initiatives. We are expanding our Information Management team to help us continue to innovate and improve the delivery of information management services across our multi-entity organisation.You will support the implementation of our information governance framework through initiatives to enhance our information protection practices.Working with information custodians and system users to improve information management outcomes including the management of high risk/high value content in the EDRMS (SharePoint) and other line-of-business systems.What you will be doing:Gathering and translating business requirements into functional requirements to facilitate the implementation of solutions that are compliant with information governance and recordkeeping requirements.Maintaining effective relationships with key internal stakeholders to influence and promote best practice information management outcomes.SharePoint compliance monitoring, analysis, and reporting to ensure the quality and validity of high risk/high-value information held within our approved information repositories.Applying retention to information and records and providing reports for functional heads on records disposal initiatives and working collaboratively with them to ensure records are compliantly destroyed according to our records retention schedule, including digital records eligible for destruction in the EDRMS.Undertaking projects and initiatives to support UCA information's effective and efficient management throughout its lifecycle, including EDRMS implementations and developing EDRMS site designs.What you will need:Qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent competencies gained through extensive experience working in a modern information management or recordkeeping environment.You are well versed in the protection and management of digital content through all lifecycle phases using an EDRMS such as Microsoft SharePoint.Detailed knowledge of modern information governance best practice, relevant legislation, and standards.Proven ability to accurately capture and document business requirements, analyse processes, and identify potential solutions for the protection and management of high risk/high value information.Demonstrated experience in applying a functional approach to information classification and the relationship to retention schedules.Proven capacity to build and grow partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet organisational objectives and show ability through change.About Us:For over 40 years, the Uniting Church in Australia has strived to serve and create a positive impact in the community.
