Location: Canberra
Contract Duration: Initial 5-month contract with options for three 6-month extensions
We are working with a large federal government agency seeking suitably experienced Record Management Officers at APS 5, APS 6, and EL1 levels to join their dynamic team in Canberra.
You will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of helpdesk functions, providing procedural, administrative, and operational advice and support for record management practices.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct "as is/to be" analysis of the Records Management function.
Assist in developing and documenting the current state of information and records management.
Create and document governance arrangements to support information management, specifically records management.
Assist in developing an information management strategy for records management.
Assist in developing and documenting business requirements for enhancements to records management systems.
Enhance and develop records management training materials.
Deliver comprehensive training sessions.
Create self-help materials for helpdesk and end users.
Contribute to the uplift of APS capability in the records management team.
Skills:

Proven experience in records and information management.
Experience with an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
Ability to solve complex problems critically.
Promote digital efficiency.
Encourage innovation and improvement.
