Prison Langi Kal Kal is a minimum-security men's protection prison located 140klm west of Melbourne at Trawalla.
The prison's primary purpose is to prepare male prisoners for transition, reintegration, and release.
As a working farm with eight separate industries, there is a strong focus on employment, training, and work readiness.
About the Role: The Records and Property Officer will assist in the day-to-day operation of the reception discharge function of the prison including prisoner records, property and clothing ensuring all electronic and paper-based recording systems are up to date and accurate.
This role will involve weekend work and public holidays.
Some of your duties will include:
Assisting in the day-to-day operation of the reception discharge function of the prison including prisoner records, property and clothing.Entering prisoner records and property data in relevant electronic and paper-based record keeping systems in an accurate and timely manner.
This may include PIMS, E Justice and Paradox.Preparing relevant documentation relating to prisoner transfer, classification, release, court appearances, bails and fines.About You: As an ideal candidate, you will possess:
