Must be Canberra based – 100% onsite A leading government agency is seeking a Record Sentencing Officer to join ASAP based in Reid , Canberra for a 20 week contract.
This role is 100% onsite and is seeking someone to join ASAP.
Key responsibilities are: Experienced in appraising, sentencing and transferring large volumes of physical departmental records.
Providing accurate advice to administrative staff regarding the identification of records for transfer to Territory Records Office for permanent retention.
Accurate interpretation of authorised retention and disposal schedules.
Undertaking required project activities including providing progress reports, identifying risks, liaising with Records management staff, and acting as the accountable archivist in supporting staff to prepare and dispose of records.
A high level of competency in records management systems and knowledge of procedures, practices (specifically in an EDRMS e.g.
