Salary: £26,550 - £27,723
Contract: Fixed Term, Until October 2026
Hours: 35 hours per week.
Flexibility in working pattern, in agreement with line manager
Based: The Lodge/Meadow Farm.

The Reconnecting Bernwood Otmoor Ray (RBOR) Community Organising & Engagement Officer will help nature recover by working with communities across the region to co-create a series of projects that take, or support, action to improve engagement and connection with nature alongside providing benefits for wildlife.
Reconnecting Bernwood Otmoor Ray (RBOR) is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
Thanks to National Lottery players, we have been able to create a programme which will build foundations with key stakeholders, landowners, land managers, and communities to enable landscape and species recovery in Bernwood, Otmoor and the Ray (BOR) over the long-term, for the benefit of heritage, nature and people.
What you'll be doingIdentifying and building relationships with communitiesDeveloping community-based projects for inclusion in a delivery stage funding applicationCollaborating with partners to co-create ambitious projects that engage a wide range of audiencesWorking with Nature and Greenspaces Officer to create joined-up community greenspace projectsWhat we're looking forAbility to genuinely engage with, and adapt to the needs of, a diverse range of audiences including minority and underserved groups.Ability to enthuse and empower community groups to take action to help local wildlife.Knowledge and experience of developing effective relationships with stakeholdersAbility to work collaboratively to create impactful community projectsFor all your hard work you can expect a great rewards package in return, including 36 days of annual leave pro rata.
