Based at our Elgar Road Campus, Box HillFixed Term until December 2025PACCT 8 $103,461.98 per annum (exclusive of superannuation)About the role: An exciting opportunity to work at Box Hill Institute as our Reconnect Program Coordinator. This opportunity is full time, fixed term until December 2025.
The Reconnect Program Coordinator leads the day-to-day operations of the Reconnect Program, including the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of the innovative, customized, client-centric, high-quality Reconnect Programs for potential Reconnect students. The Reconnect Coordinator leads a team of Case Managers to design, deliver, evaluate, and continuously improve leading-edge support for their area.
As the operational leader for the program, you will optimize resourcing and manage day-to-day operational effectiveness. Within this role, you will provide ongoing professional development for the team and proactively manage team and individual performance.
Together with the Director and Manager, the Reconnect Coordinator manages delivery that is aligned with the overall BHI Strategy and Education Strategy. You will be responsible for student experience and outcomes of the area, including out-of-classroom student experience in conjunction with key stakeholders across BHI. You will be supporting, coaching, and training Teachers to deliver an excellent student experience and provide necessary support in achieving student outcomes. Coordinators may teach as required.
As the Reconnect Program Coordinator, you will develop and maintain expert knowledge and ensure that qualifications are maintained. You will also be accountable for program and student compliance and managing to their program budgets.
This position is responsible for working professionally with employees at all levels across the Box Hill Institute and liaising with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
About You: A relevant approved AQF Level 6 or above qualification in community services, youth work, or social sciencesDesirable: A management or leadership qualificationDemonstrable education currency in a wide range of applied teaching methodologies, techniques, and standards appropriate to at-risk learners; demonstrated skills leading and managing teaching programs and developing learning materials; strong understanding of learning theory, particularly in relation to youth learning and working with vulnerable learners in an adult/community settingDemonstrated experience leading and motivating a high-performance team of teaching or case management employees, managing performance, facilitating development, and providing feedback and coaching improving productivity and performanceHigh-level awareness of and responsiveness to people from a broad range of diverse backgrounds and emotional contexts, is able to shape responses for people, and see issues from the perspective of othersAn authentic leader that effectively communicates with and adapts to team and stakeholder needsUnderstanding of the range of administrative requirements that support coordination of the Reconnect Program, with experience in compliance with accreditation/audit recommendations and quality assuranceAbout Us: We are proud to be a leading education provider with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality educational outcomes.
