About the Role TAFE Gippsland coordinates the facilitation of one of the Skills First Reconnect program 12-month contracts within the Gippsland region. The Reconnect Case Worker is instrumental in the success of this program, working with community stakeholders to refer eligible participants and provide case management and wrap-around support to participants to enter and maintain an employment or education pathway.
TAFE Gippsland is seeking to appoint a Reconnect Case Worker to work collaboratively within the Student Support Services team to provide outreach and case management to community members who have been disengaged from work or study. The Reconnect Case Worker assesses the needs and goals of each participant and provides them with tailored support and highly individualised case management.
Experience and Qualifications A post-secondary school qualification in social welfare, community service, case management, counselling, or related discipline is desirable.Demonstrated experience working within a case management model to support diverse groups is desirable.All TAFE Gippsland staff require a current Drivers Licence, employee Working with Children Clearance, and satisfactory National Police Check.
