We are currently looking for a Receptionist and Project Coordinator to join our Sydney team. Reporting to the Administration Manager, this dual role will offer you a varied range of responsibilities as you look Reception as well as assist with Project Coordination. You will work in a collaborative, cohesive team providing assistance to clients, engineering staff, Project Leaders and other support staff in our Sydney office.Key Responsibilities will include:Managing a busy front desk, meeting and greeting NDY clients and employees and managing incoming callsReception duties including the management of office supplies and catering, coordination of office maintenance, meeting rooms and bookings, and management and distribution of mailTimely and accurate administration supportAssisting Project Leaders with end-to-end project administration, to support project deliveryGenerating, formatting and distributing documents to meet operational and project timelinesAssisting in the provision of professional and confidential administrative services such as the preparation of fee letters, reports, spreadsheets and assisting with proposalsManaging documentation in line with NDY system and process requirementsCollection, collation and distribution of documents, both internally and externally.Who we're looking for:To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working in a similar role such as reception, administrative assistant or project administration, ideally gained in an engineering consulting or construction services environment, with a project delivery focus, however those with experience in other sectors should still apply. You'll have strong communication skills, with the ability to maintain professional interactions with a range of stakeholders including senior executives, clients and colleagues.A high level of verbal and written communication skills will be required, as well as a positive and proactive attitude. You'll have advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications, fast and accurate typing skills and the desire to learn and be exposed to new software applications.This role will be on-site in our North Sydney office with working hours between 8.45am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Hybrid working can be accommodated in the afternoons, with the expectation that there will be an in-person presence each morning.Please note that we will be reviewing applications as they are submitted and conducting interviews with qualified applicants.Training and DevelopmentNDY has a strong focus on the development of our staff and training will be a key element of this development whether on internal or external training courses. We will develop a career plan for each staff member that will focus on the core elements of your role to provide you with a clear progression in your career path.Additional InformationThis position is available only to permanent Australian residents or applicants who hold the relevant Visa with authority to work in Australia.
