This medical practice provides traditional high quality GP healthcare support to the whole family……within their own local community.
With a TEAM of 6 Doctors, 2 Nurses and 6 Receptionists (2 on roster at any given time), the practice provides healthcare support from 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday and 8:00am – 12:00noon Saturdays.
The Role: This medical practice is looking for an additional Receptionist to join their TEAM of 6
You will be responsible for all the usual Medical Centre Reception duties – office open and close procedures, meet & greet patients, first point of call with the phone and email, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records……along with other required support functions…..to ensure efficient, accurate and proactive service.

We are looking for someone with experience working in the medical field and enjoys working to systems and processes, taking on responsibility and is looking for long-term stability.
The shifts are rostered for the Reception Team to cover opening and closing processes for the practice – so your work hours will be allocated and rotate within 7:00am – 6:30pm Monday to Friday and 1 Saturday morning every 5 weeks working 7:30am to 12:30pm. The shifts are generally 4-6 hours each with 2 Receptionists working at any given time.

What We Need from You: Demonstrated experience working within a people service industry – Ideally someone with experience in a Medical Centre.Experience answering high volume phone calls while entering details on the computer and multi-tasking is ESSENTIAL.Strong computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word) and databases.Demonstrated experience in data entry, record management and filing.Exceptional attention to detail and focus on accuracy.Highly capable in following processes and procedures.Ability to be reactive and multi task effectively.Take pride in your work – Reliability and Exceptional Work Ethic.A sense of empathy and maturity when communicating with patients…..of ALL ages and backgrounds.
