Silverchain is recruiting for the face of our Osborne Park head office, an experienced and professional Receptionist to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.
As the first point of contact for anyone visiting our organisation, the Receptionist plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment.
The role involves a range of responsibilities, from managing incoming calls to handling administrative tasks, providing essential support to staff and ensuring effective communication within the organisation all while ensuring a smooth, efficient operation of the front reception area.
This permanent full-time opportunity is an onsite role, required Monday through till Friday, within the hours of 8.00am till 4.00pm to ensure coverage over our core operating hours.
Key responsibilities The major accountabilities of this position are: Meet and greet all guests and visitors' to Silverchain House, ensuring compassion and empathy is used where appropriate.
Provide customer service in person and over the telephone to ensure optimum customer service is provided to those who contact Silverchain.
Provide administrative support to ensure timely and accurate processing of client/employee/supplier documentation.
Organise and manage access cards for new employees starting at Silverchain House.
Distribute incoming calls, emails and other communications to relevant parties to ensure a high standard of customer service.
Provide administrative support to ensure timely and accurate processing of financial documentation and process payments.
Coordinate mail collection and distribution and take deliveries to assist in the smooth operations of the office.
Order and maintain stationery requirements to ensure all departments are fully stocked.
Provide general administrative assistance to support meetings, calendar management, data entry and maintaining documentation to support different business units.
All other general admin, as required on an ad hoc basis.
About you Experience working in a busy Receptionist area.
A genuine enthusiasm in wanting to ensure everyone who comes into Silverchain House has a positive experience.
Demonstrated communication skills to be able to listen effectively and interact with a variety of people with varying needs and requests.
Demonstrated time management and organisational skills to efficiently plan and prioritise a demanding and dynamic workload.
Demonstrated telephone skills and a professional telephone manner so that customers receive courteous assistance and are directed to appropriate staff.
Demonstrated computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and calendar management software to access and provide information, create documentation, maintain information and send messages.
