As a receptionist, you will collaborate with the team and external stakeholders to help young people participate fully within their respective communities.
The role is to provide professional and effective customer service and administrative support to our service users and the wider headspace team.
You will work closely with clients, their support networks, and a dedicated team of professionals to deliver person-centered, holistic support that truly makes a difference.
Key Responsibilities Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with young people, their families, and local services.Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact, providing professional service and a warm welcome to all.Collaborative Care: Work with clients, families, and the headspace team to ensure top-level care and maintain effective relationships with service providers and stakeholders.Positive Behaviour: Exhibit behaviours aligned with New Horizons' core values.Team Participation: Engage actively in team meetings and supervision.Privacy and Compliance: Uphold privacy standards, inform clients of their rights, suggest process improvements, and maintain accurate client data in compliance with WHS legislation.Essential Requirements: Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, work independently, and seek consultation when needed.Awareness of diverse cultural contexts and the ability to provide culturally sensitive services.Understanding of privacy legislation, informed consent principles, confidentiality limits, and mandatory reporting requirements.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders professionally and sensitively.Proficient in computer skills, including experience with relevant software and databases.Preferred Attributes: Empathy and Adaptability: Ability to connect meaningfully with clients and provide an exceptional standard of customer service.Collaboration: Skilled in working within multidisciplinary teams, valuing the input and expertise of various professionals.Commitment to Growth: Dedication to continuous improvement, professional development, and innovative solutions in service delivery.Why This Role Matters
