About the Role Working in our historic clubhouse overlooking the Derwent River, you'll play a vital role in supporting our club operations and ensuring a seamless experience for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities Manage daily club correspondence and member communicationsProcess membership applications and maintain membership databaseCoordinate club events and regattas administrative requirementsHandle booking systems for marina berths and club facilitiesProvide support for club committees and maintain meeting minutesProcess accounts payable/receivable and assist with basic bookkeepingGreet members and visitors in a professional and welcoming mannerManage front desk and telephone enquiries with member and visitorsAssist General Manager with administration tasks as requiredRequired Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years' administrative experienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office suiteExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh attention to detail and organisational abilitiesExperience with customer service and member relationsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamBookkeeping experience preferredMaritime or sporting club experience advantageousBenefits Competitive salary based on experience ($65,000-$75,000)4 weeks annual leaveStaff parkingDiscounted staff meals Beautiful waterfront working environmentFriendly, supportive team atmosphereHours Monday to Friday,9:00am - 5:30pm Occasional weekend work may be required for special events
