YHA Hobart provides ideal accommodation with 28 rooms and 110 beds, being the most centrally located traveler lodging in Hobart, just one block from the city's waterfront.
The property is conveniently situated within walking distance to the MONA museum ferry at Constitution Dock, Salamanca Place, and numerous bars, restaurants, and cafes.
About the role: YHA Hobart is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist/Housekeeper to enhance our team on a part-time basis.
The perfect candidate will dynamically support both the front desk and housekeeping teams, committed to delivering exceptional guest service and maintaining the property's immaculate condition, in line with the esteemed standards associated with YHA properties.
Day-to-day duties include: Front desk:  Providing excellent customer service to property guests and contributing to the property's friendly and cheerful atmosphere, answering guest queries and providing helpful local knowledge and recommendations, checking in and out guests and providing them with information that will assist in an enjoyable stay, resolving any guest concerns or disputes and escalating to relevant management when appropriate.
Housekeeping:  duties include; refreshing communal spaces, bathrooms and accommodation rooms, kitchens, monitoring and replenishing stock and ensuring our property remains sparkling clean.

What are we looking for: Previous experience in front desk reception, customer service and commercial cleaning in an accommodation setting.
