Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is a not-for-profit organisation providing world class aeromedical, search and rescue services to those in need 24/7.
The Service has 50 years of proud history, and operates from three bases in NSW (Tamworth, Belmont, Lismore) in addition to a Head Office and Deep Level Maintenance facility based in Broadmeadow NSW.
About the Position We're looking for a capable and friendly Receptionist & Fundraising Assistant to join the team at our Lismore Base for a period of 3 ½ months commencing 27 January 2025 until 6 May 2025.
As the first point of contact at the base, you'll provide professional reception and administrative support while assisting with fundraising activities.
This is a varied role where your strong organisational skills and ability to connect with people will help ensure our base runs efficiently and leaves a positive impression on visitors and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Answer phones, greet visitors, coordinate deliveries, and maintain a tidy reception area
• Assist with maintenance requests and contractor inductions
• Process receipts, maintain donor communication, and support fundraising events
• Handle correspondence, update databases, assist with newsletters, and coordinate mail-outs
• Provide administrative support for the base, events, volunteers, and op shop activities
The successful candidate will ideally be available to work 5 days per week, 5.5 hours per day.
Flexibility to work school hours will be available.
About You To be considered for this role, you will have:
• Experience in a similar administrative position
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Familiarity with administrative tasks and comfort using CRMs and Microsoft Office
