We are on the hunt for our next superstar customer-focused receptionist to look after our clients so we can look after their pets!
About us: We are a well-established and progressive mixed practice veterinary clinic offering general veterinary services for patients in Dalby and surrounds.
We have a fun team and enjoy working together and learning from each other.
Dalby & District Veterinary Services has a long history in the local community and is the combination of Knox Veterinary Clinic and Bell Veterinary Clinic- with years of providing veterinary services to the local community.
As part of the Apiam Animal Health group of regional and rural veterinary clinics across Australia, Dalby & District Veterinary Services prides itself on having a great relationship with clients, customer satisfaction and going above and beyond in patient care.
About the position: Providing outstanding customer service over the phone and face-to-face.
Welcoming clients and their pets to the clinic.
Managing appointments for clinical staff.
Liaising with vets and vet nurses to ensure efficient daily scheduling.
Processing invoices and payments.
Ensuring a neat and tidy presentation of the reception and waiting areas.
About you: Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service role is essential.
Vet clinic or animal care industry knowledge is advantageous but not essential- having an affinity for animals and their care is most important.
Must genuinely love helping clients, have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have a mature approach for tricky conversations!
Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as effectively contributing to a team environment.
