ABOUT THE ROLES We are currently seeking a full-time Receptionist and Practice Manager to join our experienced and dedicated team in Bunbury. Our reception staff are the first port of call, face-to-face and over the phone, requiring patience, sensitivity, and the passion and drive to fulfil the role in this busy and growing environment.
The positions offer a standard 38 hours per week work hours.
Key responsibilities for the receptionist position: Greet patients and visitors to the practice.Register patients according to established protocols.Ensure patient information is accurate including billing information.Maintain and manage patient records.Answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries.Obtain external medical reports/results as required.Respond and comply to requests for information.Deal with incoming and outgoing correspondence.Process Medicare claims, payments, and banking.Additional Responsibilities: Requires applicant to know the principles of quality, safety, and emergency policies and procedures.Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice in every interaction with patients, colleagues, providers, and leadership.Manages staffing through reporting supervisors at various DAB radiology clinics.Oversees implementation of policies, procedures, and quality standards.Fosters effective relationships with physicians and GPs to promote the image of DAB Radiology.Compiles statistical data provided by reporting supervisors and prepares reports related to operating costs and services rendered.Maintains current information and knowledge of all Australian Medicare billing systems, local, state, and federal laws and regulations, and accreditation standards.Provides follow-up to any QA problem encountered. Follows up on customer service issues for resolution/recovery, most often including direct involvement with members.Monitors radiology customer service from a global perspective, e.g., service delivery model.PREFERRED REQUIREMENT Position is a full-time employment. Appropriate Diploma or certificate in science field or health administration preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience. Previous exposure to a similar position would be an added advantage.
