About the Role:
Providing a warm, efficient, and accurate reception service, including responding to email, phone and face-to-face enquiries. Responsible for key processes such as EFTPOS payments, cash management, room bookings, maintaining corporate spaces, assisting students, and updating the campus calendar. Assisting the Events team with pre-and post-event processes. IT support (in liaison with our IT team) to QLD-based staff and visitors, e.g., troubleshooting tech set up and issues. Serving as a First Aid Officer and Fire Warden for the building (training provided if required). This role is 4 days/week. We are open to discussing alternative job share arrangements with candidates with the right skills and enthusiasm for the role. Qualifications:
A relevant post-secondary qualification is desirable. Current First Aid Certification or the willingness to undertake training. Experience and Knowledge:
Previous experience in reception, concierge, or customer service. Strong IT and software competence, including Microsoft and Google software and platforms. A level of competence in handling IT issues and supporting staff and visitors less experienced in this area. Experience in event management and support. Experience in basic financial processing, Xero experience desired. Skills, Character, and Qualities:
Demonstrated Christian character and involvement in a local evangelical church. Alignment of personal values, beliefs and practices with the mission, Staff Code, and Christian ethos of Morling College. Proven organisation and time management skills. Professional and warm communication (written and verbal) skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to partner with various teams and organisations to achieve goals. Resilient and able to remain poised when under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and solve problems as they arise.
