About the Company A well-established and reputable organisation is seeking a warm and professional Receptionist to join their Brisbane office.

About the role As the Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face of the organisation, ensuring a seamless and professional front-desk experience while providing essential support to internal teams.
Your role will involve managing incoming calls, emails, and visitors, maintaining smooth office operations, and assisting with a variety of administrative tasks.
A key part of your day will include connecting members to the appropriate teams, contributing to exceptional service delivery and fostering a positive experience for all stakeholders.
This 3–6-month temporary assignment offers a strong potential for permanency for the right candidate, presenting a valuable opportunity to grow and establish yourself within the organisation.
Key Responsibilities: Answer and triage incoming calls and emails, directing enquiries to the appropriate departments.
Welcome and assist guests and contractors, representing the organisation with professionalism and warmth.
Coordinate and manage meeting room bookings, ensuring rooms are set up and ready for use.
Reconcile invoices by coding forms and submitting them to the finance team.
Conduct regular office walk-throughs to maintain tidiness and ensure supplies (tea, coffee, stationery) are stocked.
Liaise with external suppliers to manage orders and deliveries of consumables.
Provide administrative support to various teams, including data entry, booking travel, and handling ad hoc tasks.
About you You are a polished and proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments.
With a warm and approachable demeanour, you handle multiple responsibilities seamlessly while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Your excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – allow you to engage confidently with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that enquiries are managed efficiently and with care.
You bring a calm, organised approach to your work, consistently demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Your background in reception, customer service, or administrative support has shaped you into someone who can manage front-desk operations, coordinate daily office activities, and provide a seamless experience for guests and colleagues.
Proficient in Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and the Office Suite, you are quick to adapt to new systems like Aptify, embracing opportunities to expand your skill set.
You are a problem solver at heart, always taking initiative to ensure the office runs smoothly and your team feels supported.
