Operating after-school hours during the week and on weekends, we run a busy operation that requires flexible, motivated staff who love education and thrive at a high pace.
The role We are looking for a receptionist / administrative assistant to our join our Customer Service team at Baulkham Hills. This role will provide exceptional service to our parents and children and offer high-quality administrative support to our team.
In this role, you will help at the front desk and provide welcoming services to the many hundreds of children and families who attend our programs each week. You answer incoming emails and phone calls and help with follow up calls to existing customers and potential new customers.
You will also assist with the printing of program materials, data entry and processing of test results as well as preparation of educational equipment and other administrative duties.
The role is casual or part time three days a week with approximately 20-25 hours per week mainly during school terms. Work patterns will include evening and at times weekend work.
Start is from Term 1, 2025 with induction and training in the last week of January.

About you You are likely to have experience from and excelled in a busy front desk position in an education or health care setting. Here, you have attended to the needs of children and adults and performed a broad range of administrative duties to an excellent standard.
You take pride in your work, have excellent attention to detail and are used to working within a Microsoft and ideally also Google Workspace environment using Word and Excel.
Qualifications and skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organisation and administration skills with excellent attention to detail. Child-friendly and positive mindset Quick learner with an interest in education. Able to manage changing demands and competing priorities. Ability to remain calm and pleasant under pressure. Digitally literate - high proficiency in using Microsoft Office 365, including Excel. Flexible and able to work outside normal business hours and weekends. Valid Working with Children Check.
