East Grampians Health Service is seeking to recruit a casual Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join the Medical Imaging Department.
About Us
East Grampians Health Service is based in Ararat and Willaura (Regional Victoria) and takes its name from the magnificent mountain range that provides a backdrop to both townships. We are committed to providing quality care and services that meet the needs of the community, whilst continuously striving for improvement and aiming to lead the way in provision of health-related services.
The Medical Imaging Department is located at the Ararat campus of East Grampians Health Service. It supports EGHS clinical services by offering imaging to inpatients and outpatients. Our department provides x-ray, CT, ultrasound, and OPG services.
What we Offer About the Role
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Front desk customer service Receipting Mail Other financial tasks Booking patient exams Liaising with Medical Practitioners About You
We are looking for candidates with:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Ability to manage own workload Initiative and problem-solving skills Strong computer and database skills Previous experience with receipting and balancing of financial systems is desirable Experience in the Health industry would be well regarded but not essential Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks).
