AG Security Group is South Australia's leading and largest privately-owned security organisation that has been protecting Australians for 33 years.
The Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Receptionist – Admin to become a vital part of our team.
In this role, you'll help ensure smooth daily operations while delivering outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders.
Working Monday to Friday, you will collaborate with a supportive team and take ownership of key responsibilities to maintain an efficient, welcoming, and professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Reception • Serve as the first point of contact, managing all incoming calls, messages, and directing queries efficiently.
• Greet and assist visitors, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Handle and record deliveries, coordinating with relevant team members for distribution.
Office Maintenance & Upkeep • Ensure the office environment is well-maintained, including managing lighting, air conditioning, and tidying the space daily.
• Restock kitchen and bathroom supplies, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring functionality of equipment like the coffee machine.
• Manage plant care and oversee garbage and recycling collections weekly.
• Monitor office equipment such as printers and arrange for servicing as needed.
• Organize office events, managing all aspects from catering to setup and cleanup.
Administrative Support • Track and order office supplies to ensure stock is always available.
• Efficiently oversee and manage shared inboxes
• Handle all mail duties, including managing couriers and parcel dispatch.
• Keep documents up-to-date, manage registers, and generate reports when needed.
• Provide general administrative support to the team to keep day-to-day activities on track.
About You What We're Looking For: • A professional and friendly demeanor with a strong customer service mindset.
• Proven administrative skills with the ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Prior experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential).
