We are seeking a Receptionist/Admin Assistant to join our friendly tax & accounting firm based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.About the roleThe successful applicant will be organised, motivated and friendly. The front desk will be shared. If you are someone with good work ethic who would like to keep busy and learn new skills, while being employed in a small friendly office; this may be the role for you.Hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Extra hours, including every other Saturday, will be needed during the tax season in July and August.The main duties will include, but are not limited to:Greeting visitors and directing them appropriately.Performing general clerical receptionist duties such as filing, collating, archiving etc.Booking appointments and general phone/message handling.Handling/processing private & confidential paperwork.Corresponding with clients and other related parties.Banking and Mail procedures.Creating and sending invoices.Problem solving with regard to non-accounting client queries/concerns.Attending to staff instructions/requests when required.General office upkeep (e.g., tidying up, shopping for office supplies etc.)To be considered you must:Have the ability to learn quickly, follow instructions and work thoroughly/efficiently.Be able to handle the heavy tax time rush during July and August where temporary overtime work will be required.Have excellent written/verbal communication skills, including professional phone manners.Have superb time management skills and the ability to prioritise work.Have attention to detail and problem solving skills.Have strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task/work under pressure.Be professionally/well presented.Have a team mentality and a positive attitude.Have a standard driver's licence.Reception experience desired but not necessary.Please email CV and Cover Letter to ******
