Job DescriptionThe opportunity:We are looking for a Reception Team Leader to join our supportive and professional multidisciplinary teams in a Part Time capacity on a 12-month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead, supervise and support team members.Ensure the active participation of staff in processes that contribute to the development of the organisation.With the Team Leader Dental Reception Oral Health & Reception, manage the roster and provide leadership and management to staff that will contribute to the achievement of key strategic direction set out in the organisation strategic plan.Participate in recruitment, selection and orientation of staff to the team, with the Service Access Manager.Ensure staffing levels within a particular work area are adequate for the services being delivered and within the budget.Manage the team to ensure a consistent approach to customer service and work practice is maintained.Allocate and monitor all Reception administrative support tasks to ensure the provision of accurate and responsive services to all customers (internal and external).Provide a complete range of reception, clerical, administrative and cashier services across all programs within healthAbility.Promptly respond to all inquiries to ensure the provision of accurate information regarding healthAbility programs.Desired Skills and ExperienceDemonstrated experience in effective management of staff.Skills in self-management and setting priorities.Ability to achieve results within time constraints and conflicting priorities.High level of customer service.High level of communication and interpersonal skills, ability to establish relationships with customers and peers.Awareness of and willingness to respond to the needs of customers from socially, culturally, and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds without prejudice.Moderate level computer literacy.Knowledge of Microsoft applications, the internet and email applications.Please apply here by submitting a cover letter addressing the key selection criteria with your CV.
