The Reception Services Officer role is a critical position within the offices as it provides the first impression of the organisation and fulfills the critical role in assisting clients, staff, visitors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
The role ensures customers are provided with accurate information and referred to the correct program area.
The position is critical in ensuring customer service is delivered efficiently and in line with departmental values.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE: As part of a team, deliver a high-quality telephone and reception service to clients, service providers, and members of the public by maintaining a welcoming and professional manner, acknowledging all visitors and callers, respecting diversity, and responding promptly to their needs.Attend appropriately to each individual enquiry by taking a helpful approach, establishing the purpose of the visit or call, assessing the service required, and providing the appropriate response.Maintain effective working relationships and liaise efficiently and professionally with all levels of staff.COVID-19 VACCINATION: The department strongly recommends (but does not mandate) that employees maintain their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) advice, given their individual circumstances.
As of June 2023, DFFH does not require evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status.
