$30 - $35 per hour + super Monday to Friday on casual basis Opportunity for a skilled and motivated Administration Officer to join a fast paced environment, helping our office run smoothly and efficiently. As the front office receptionist/office administrator, you will be proactive, polished, professional and outgoing. You will be the first point of contact for our clients.
Small Accounting firm H.Q in Beenleigh and UnderwoodClose-knit team environmentMonday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm Skills and experience required: Excellent customer service skills and professional phone manner Ability to balance client requirements with staff schedules and prioritiesHighly team orientated with a cheerful dispositionProfessional standards of personal presentation Strong MS Office SkillsExcellent attention to detail with a strong command of the English languageAble to prioritise tasks and recognise fluid deadline requirementsGood Organisational skills Experience in Taxation software - Handisoft IdealExperience in the accounting/taxation industry would be preferred Duties are varied and will include but are not limited to: Managing telephone and general enquiresAnswering phone calls, assisting client enquiries, booking of appointmentsTaking of accurate messagesGreeting clients and liaising with all staff to coordinate schedulesManaging partners and all staff diaries and booking of appointmentsReceive emails incoming and distribute appropriately Opening and recording of all incoming mail including ATO correspondenceWelcoming and onboarding of new clients Assist with the Practice Management database and MarketingAssist with ASIC, company and trust set ups, ABN applications, TFN applicationsEntering data, letters, fee authorities / trust accountProcessing of credit card payments, EFTPOS payments daily & reconciliationsATO lodgements daily and filing of lodgements & all other client paperworkProcessing of client related mail out from partners throughout the day and firm wide mail outCreating with guides email outs to clients and editing & updating templatesTyping correspondence for Partners Agendas and Minutes of Meeting for weekly staff meetingsScanning, filing, creating new client foldersCollection of post, stationery and office suppliesAdaptable to all round ad hoc tasks Job requirements In Addition to Above Duties: Able to work as part of a team.Able to communicate confidently and liaise competently with clients and others.Posses proficient attention to detail.Are friendly, polite and respectful in all situations..Able to work under pressure when required.Good time management and able to work to deadlines.Maintain a positive 'can do' attitude.Professional appearance and presentationWill be a non-smokerDrivers LicenceOur accounting practice is seeking your expertise to support our team and our clients.
We are seeking a Head of Administration and Reception with ideally 3 years of experience.
