We are looking for an individual to oversee our front desk, handling occasional calls or meet-and-greet duties, with a primary focus on administrative tasks and facilities support. Join us as an essential member of our nationwide Facilities team by becoming a Front Office/Facilities Support Officer. This is a permanent part-time position, two days a week based in Sydney.
Responsibilities Managing the reception area assisting with face-to-face and telephone customer enquiries relating to all education related mattersDelivering outstanding customer service and support to staff, contractors and visitorsProviding general office support including issuing cab charges, stationery, arranging couriers and coordinating cateringAssist with creating new staff access passes and providing visitors and contractors the appropriate security access on arrivalMonitor kitchen stock levels of consumables and process weekly ordersProvide general ad-hoc administration support to staff including filing, updating spreadsheets etcAssist with coordinating, and organising catering as and when requiredWork closely with the Sydney Facilities Manager and other stakeholders to coordinate the repair and maintenance of office/campus facilities Monitor the Facilities team ticketing system, Fresh Service, to triage, assign and/or actioning tickets locally and nationallyArranging maintenance and repairs with approved contractorsRequirements 1-2 years of administration and/or facilities experience (essential)Excellent written and verbal communication skills Competent with Microsoft Office Organisation and time management skills Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously About Us Kaplan Australia is one of the world's leading providers of lifelong education, helping over one million students around the globe achieve their educational and career goals each year.
