Originally named The Wayside Foundation, The Ted Noffs Foundation was established in 1970 by the great Australian humanitarian, Reverend Ted Noffs, and renamed in 1992 to honour his life's work.
Our services are focused on helping young people with drug, crime and mental health issues and have achieved significant success. Today, we run services across NSW, ACT and QLD with over 150 staff and nearly 300 volunteers committed to helping disadvantaged young Australians.
Noffs is looking for a Reception and Office Administrator to take and manage incoming calls, meet all visitors, and provide administration support for the Head Office as well as the wider Foundation. This role is the first point of contact for young people and their families, support services and the general public looking to engage with the Foundation.
Responsibilities and Duties include but not limited to: Take all incoming calls for the Ted Noffs Foundation professionally and direct as appropriate. Provision of up to date information about the Foundation. Assist with responding to external enquiries. Liaise with all visitors to the Head Office, including clients, volunteers, key stakeholders, trades people, etc. Provide triage and support for Program Units & staff in areas including but not limited to I.T, phones, software systems, assets, and equipment. Assist with ordering and maintaining of office supplies, stationery, kitchen supplies and amenities. Coordinate the process and assist with purchasing functions for Program Units. Collect, open and distribute mail and deliveries, and arrange couriers. Ensure the Head Office is clean and tidy at all times. Assist with system set up and induction for new staff where required. Assist with overall administrative and operational functions for the Foundation.
