Job Description headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation with EACH being one of the lead agencies. Each year, we help thousands of young people, and their family and friends, access vital support through our headspace services in over 145 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.

This role would suit an experienced and compassionate person who enjoys being a part of a community-based organisation, that has previous experience in a health or medical setting, along with demonstrated experience/interest in working with young people.
What would your day look like: Meet and greet (clients, members of the public, staff and other professionals) ensuring the highest standards of customer focus Register clients attending the centre and inform relevant clinicians of their arrival, for both Primary consulting and Youth health clinics Maintain a high standard of customer service by handling all customer queries including informing clients of delays in a courteous, friendly and helpful manner Participate in weekend work (every second Saturday at headspace Narre Warren) and participate in after-hours work if required Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence including emails Ensure the integrity of the clinical filing system and records are maintained in all software programs used for the Primary consulting and Youth health clinic services Data entry of client information into headspace databases Working days will be Tues/Wed/Thurs 9.54am to 6.00pm, and will work across both our Narre Warren and Pakenham sites. There is scope to cover weekend work (every second Saturday at headspace Narre Warren) if there are staff absences. You may be asked to participate in after-hours work if deemed necessary.
Skills Exceptional phone and front desk manner. High level time management and organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Presents in a professional manner Strong ability to work confidentially with a high level of emotional intelligence, tact and diplomacy.
