Role Join the team at Spring Gully Primary School as a part time Reception and Administration professional. In this dynamic role, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support. With a focus on efficient administration, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our school.
What we're looking for Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour Strong administration and organizational abilities, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of stakeholders A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation Responsibilities Greeting and welcoming visitors, students, and staff in a friendly and professional manner Handling all incoming phone calls, taking messages, and directing enquiries as appropriate Assisting with a variety of administration tasks, including data entry, file management, and document preparation Maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvement and contributing to the development of efficient systems and procedures Providing routine clerical or other administrative support responsibilities including general telephone, front office enquiries, mail deliveries, assisting with stock control, supporting organisation of meetings, receiving and initial processing of standard paperwork Maintaining, entering and retrieving data from the school's IT systems, such as the school's records system, including computerised student, staff and school records Maintaining and updating office records, enrolment data, diary records, and basic written records Supporting or coordinating the preparation of standard routine internal and external communication according to school procedures (e.g. form letters, newsletters) Sourcing basic data or factual information from given sources to support school administrative functions, e.g. books, reports, manuals, catalogues, tables, forms, etc. Coordinating the delivery of administrative services within the school In consultation with the principal, business manager determine and manage work priorities within the school office Liaising with school staff in regard to support requirements Supporting the first aid facilities and assisting in delivering first aid to students Who May Apply Individuals with the aptitude, experience and/or qualifications to fulfill the specific requirements of the position.
