Position Summary As Receiving Officer, duties include receiving, checking and examining the stock inventory that arrives into the hotel and storage facilities where stock is held.
Incoming goods are cross-referenced against the invoices from Purchase Orders to ensure no discrepancies.
Reporting to our Purchasing Manager & Assistant Purchasing Manager, this role will see you: Receiving and ordering stock according to Capella SOP's.
Maintaining par-level stock for the satisfaction of goods and services.
Maintaining the security of stock, stock control and quality assurance.
Completing internal stock transfers and stocktakes of bars and restaurants.
Assisting the Purchasing Manager with stocktake.
Cleaning and maintaining equipment, cool rooms, freezers and storerooms.
Ensuring required hygiene standards, general housekeeping in stores, and product handling are maintained.
Maintaining the stores per Workplace, Health and Safety guidelines and regulations.
Talent Profile Be able to work early starts and have flexibility to potentially work Saturdays if necessary.
Good level of physical fitness as this is a hands-on role.
Must have high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Problem-solving skills.
Good command in written and spoken English.
Valid working rights in Australia.
