Join a supportive organisation with a people-focused culture Full, time permanent opportunity Salary packaging available About the Role Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) is looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Apprenticeship Support Officer – Readiness Support Officer.
In this key role, you will be responsible for assessing the skill levels, training needs, and career potential of Australian Apprentices and Trainees.
Additionally, you will support your team in evaluating employers' readiness and suitability to provide a supportive environment for apprentices.
Your duties will include delivering a range of administrative tasks, such as coordinating bookings for field team members and conducting virtual or in-person assessments prior to apprentice sign-up.
This is a  full-time, permanent  position that will be based in the Perth CBD office.
Key responsibilities include: Handling inbound customer service calls and offering general advice to clients Conducting virtual or in-person assessments in accordance with established guidelines Ensuring accurate data entry and maintaining up-to-date databases Coordinating and scheduling meetings for field staff Identifying potential barriers to apprenticeship success through risk assessments for both apprentices and employers Maintaining open, supportive communication with apprentices, employers, RTOs, and other key stakeholders Providing empathetic support to both apprentices and employers, creating a positive environment that promotes successful apprenticeship outcomes   About You   To be a successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience: Excellent customer service skills Excellent communication skills – oral and written Understanding/knowledge of apprenticeships and traineeships (desirable) Ability to work to and deliver on KPIs National Police Clearance & Working with Children Check (essential) About CCIWA CCIWA is an independent, not-for-profit, Member-based organisation that has been committed to advancing trade and commerce in WA for more than 130 years.
