As a responsible Logistics Specialist you will support the inventory and logistics needs for our engineering, maintenance and operational personnel.
Working in a friendly team, to meet the needs of our customer - the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) Submarine Force.
You will be supported by an experienced Inventory Team Leader and work proactively across inventory management, procurement and warehousing to ensure we successfully execute and strive to continuously improve in the drive for greater efficiency in logistical support.
Key Responsibilities: Support material management planning and scheduling, including analysis and procurement, repair and the optimisation of inventory holdings and locations.Meet customer requirements for both internal (Raytheon Australia functional teams) and external RAN Submarine Force, including stock level maintenance and fleet management.Maintain Raytheon Australia's export control compliance across all Material Support functions.Being comfortable with technology and systems, you will work to maintain data integrity of our inventory management systems and logistics databases in support of Collins Program requirements.Working with the Sourcing Team to ensure the efficient procurement and repair of submarine spares in order to maintain inventory holdings for contract requirements.Administration and management of warehousing and stores including receipting, dispatching, supply holdings, stock control, packaging, transport, as well as meet financial, stock-take, audit standards and QA requirements.Maintain inventory management data integrity in both Defence and Raytheon Australia inventory management systems.Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Requires a Certificate III in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation or Distribution, or equivalent experience.Minimum 3 years prior relevant experience required.SAP Experience Highly Desirable.Experience in warehouse operations within a Defence or commercial environment.Exposure to Defence or commercial inventory management systems.Exposure to procurement activities and warehouse operations.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
