This will be an internally facing role, reporting to a Team Manager.
Working student opportunities are offered to current students who wish to work part-time either full days or several half days.
Working Students complete project work determined by their team that has real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth.
Participants will gain insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company.Skills and CompetenciesAble to commit at least 3 workdays per weekGood accounting or statistics background (e.g., through coursework, CFA (or equivalent) may be required for some, but not all teams)Strong analytical skillsProficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and handle workflow, adapt to a changing environment, and prioritize tasks accordinglyStrong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detailEducationStudents matriculating through college, studying towards a Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent qualification, or a Master's Degree, in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Political Economy, International Relations, Statistics, or another quantitative field.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting Analytical teams as needed.
Examples of analytical work may include:Provide day-to-day analytical and research support to the rating teamsContribute to various projects including research, data, and process related projectsCollect data and identify trends to support well-thought-out credit conclusionsPrepare financial documents, charts, and presentationsResponsible for monitoring media outlets for news regarding special projects or portfoliosContribute to the creation of high-quality research publicationsAbout the teamThe RRS working student role involves providing analytical and research support to rating teams, contributing to projects and research reports.
