Rates Collection Officer Financial Services Permanent Full Time LGO Level 4 $83,457 Maryborough At Fraser Coast Regional Council our people are our most important asset and central to achieving our purpose of Building Better Communities Together.
What we are looking for: Due to internal movements, we are looking for an experienced Collections Officer to join our Revenue and Rates team.
You'll play a critical role in supporting our Property and Rating policy and legislative compliance.
What your day will look like: Contacting ratepayers with overdue rates Assisting in the development of Council's Debt Recovery Policy Working closely with external agencies Coordinating the processing of financial hardship applications Providing an excellent level of customer service Please click here to view a full position description.
What you'll need for success: You'll have proven experience in a similar debt collection position, ideally with an understanding of local government legislation.
Strong communication and engagement skills will set you up for success.
