We specialise in supporting people with concerns related to alcohol and other drugs (AOD), mental health, veterans' wellbeing, gambling, and people transitioning from correctional services.
Your Opportunity We are currently looking for a Reconciliation Implementation Coordinator to support the organisation with the development and implementation of our RAP.
As the Reconciliation Implementation Coordinator you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), working closely with internal and external stakeholders to promote cultural awareness and competency across the organisation.
This role can be either 0.8FTE or 1.0FTE and we are flexible around days of work.
We also offer flexibility in working arrangements including hybrid WFH options and the opportunity for some travel throughout Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia supporting our 100+ service sites.
Salary for this position is $105,000 - $115,000 (FTE) plus Super and Salary Packaging of up to $15,900 per annum.
Start date for this role will be January 2025.
To perform this role, it is essential that the person is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.
It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti Discrimination Act 1991.
What you will bring As an experienced RAP implementation professional eager to join a non-profit organisation you will be enthusiastic and dedicated to leading our commitment to reconciliation.
Skills and attributes you bring will include: A background in developing and refining the strategic direction for RAP implementation in alignment with company goals and objectives Project management skills that support the effective implementation of the RAP including establishing timelines, deliverables, performance indicators and identifying risks Ability to work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure policies, guidelines, and programs support the implementation of reconciliation strategies and initiatives Experience in promoting activities around significant dates and specific events and support the celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and inclusion Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to engage and collaborate Strategic thinking with the capability to convert vision into practical plans Expertise in navigating complex organisational structures and influencing stakeholders at different levels Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, prioritising data-driven decision-making Employee engagement and coordination Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander networks internally Relevant qualifications in social sciences, project management, compliance or related fields are advantageous.
