Most work is field-based, but you will also undertake administrative tasks.The primary focus of the role is delivery of the visitor infrastructure maintenance program and associated capital works. You will also operate and maintain plant and equipment, control pest plants and animals, undertake planned burning and wildfire suppression activities, compliance and park infrastructure maintenance tasks. Practical skills and experience are necessary.An important aspect of this role is providing on-ground supervision to field-based staff and working collaboratively with others. A strong personal work ethic and good communication and interpersonal skills are important.
