About the role As the Ranger (Field Services), you will deliver in park services as directed by the Manager to enable efficient and effective delivery at a district level in accordance with the Regional Action Plan.
You will be accountable for the delivery of on the ground works including, but not limited to, maintenance of assets, infrastructure, and facilities; and the field delivery of environmental projects.
You will undertake Fire and Emergency response activities in accordance with requirements and level of training.
The Ranger (Field Services) will be accountable will be for personal performance and demonstrate a strong personal work ethic.
You will actively participate in a team environment and ensure that the overall success of the team is considered to be an outcome of individual success.
As the Ranger (Field Services) you will be adaptable and flexible to on the ground service requirements in order to ensure superior park management services are achieved at all times.
We're looking for someone with: * Plant, chainsaw and machinery operation experience is desirable.
* Ability to carry out maintenance and operation of machinery, small equipment and tools.
* Practical skills in the maintenance and construction of a range of park facilities, including, signs, campgrounds, fences and walking tracks.
