The Program Manager leads and successfully delivers programs/projects within a collaborative team environment. Develop, manage, and deliver client contracts and those with external delivery partners, as well as ensure all projects are delivered on time and on budget.
The key areas of responsibility for this role are:
Working with stakeholders, to identify opportunities for projects and partnerships. Promote Rangelands NRM activities broadly and liaise with relevant stakeholders. Provide thought leadership to stakeholders, communities, and delivery partners. Ability to manage project staff Regional Travel(required) Education and Qualifications Degree in NaturalResourceManagement, Agriculture, Environment, or other relevant discipline. Experience in Project/Program Management (desired) Knowledge, Experience and Skills Experience in strategic program coordination and collective impact at project, program, and landscape scales. Experience in Sustainable Agriculture and managing projects in this space. Awareness and knowledge of Ramsar Wetlands, threatened species and World Heritage Areas. Knowledge of regional socio-economic issues and threatening NRM processes. Demonstrable Project Management skills across concurrent projects. Excellentwritten, verbal, and digital communication skills. Ability to relate to and communicate with people at all levels and an understanding of the part that cultural differences play in communicating with different groups. Experience in the development, writing and submission of Scope ofWorks,Fee Proposals, applications, grants, and tenders. Ability to use initiative and be self-motivated. Computer skills, particularly with MS Office suite. Current C Class Manual WA Drivers Licence. Demonstrated positive commitment to Work Health & Safety and operating within a Code of Conduct. Experience in communicating with Indigenous groups would be an advantage (desired) Strong community connections throughout the rangelands (desired) This role is located in Broome
