The Role Your main responsibilities will be to lead and manage delivery of projects from initiation through to closure under the Institute's project management framework and in collaboration with business areas. You will be supported by business analysts, technical experts, and subject matter experts to deliver projects.
Responsibilities: Managing projects including the delivery of outcomes and benefits, scope boundaries, schedules, quality and budgets. Coordinating teams to enable project delivery and transition into service. Developing project documentation and reporting progress on delivery. Managing relationships and communicating effectively with all project stakeholders, overcoming obstacles to delivery through collaboration, communication, problem solving and negotiation. Overseeing procurements and tenders and managing contracts resulting from procurement as they relate to project delivery. Identifying and managing risks and overseeing the implementation of risk mitigation plans. Conducting project reviews and creating reports for executive staff and project boards. Developing, monitoring and reporting on Key Performance Indicators which measure the success of the delivery of projects. Selection criteria: Proven track record of 5+ years' experience in delivering ICT projects, leading multiple projects, to achieve business outcomes that are on time and budget. Demonstrated experience in creating fit-for-purpose project management documentation, templates and improving project management and governance practices to enable successful delivery of ICT enabled business projects. Demonstrated experience in establishing, monitoring and updating work plans, budgets, project plans, resource allocation plans, work breakdown schedules, agile scrum and sprint planning practices and conducting recruitment and leadership of project personnel to achieve business outcomes. Ability to communicate with influence both verbally and in writing with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including your ability to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes. Ability to develop, implement, monitor, and report on ICT strategic program plans including individual project plans, to meet diverse business, client, and stakeholder requirements. Relevant qualifications in Information Systems (or a related field) and a demonstrated understanding of Prince2, PMBOK and Agile delivery will be highly regarded.
