About the Role As an APS5/6 Policy Officer, you will contribute to policies, programs, and initiatives that drive innovation, collaboration, and the economic transformation necessary for a clean energy future.
Key Responsibilities Deliver workforce development initiatives, including a national worker training centre and an emergency first responder training package. Contribute to the annual energy report, including data collection, analysis, and report writing. Assist in the development of an industry code of conduct. Support international engagements and partnerships on clean energy initiatives. Provide subject matter expertise on specific energy technologies or applications. Prepare high-quality briefs, submissions, and correspondence.
About You We are looking for candidates who:
Have an interest in climate and energy policy. Possess strong research, analytical, and data management skills. Are skilled in written communication and relationship building with diverse stakeholders. Excel in collaborative team environments, including dispersed teams. Have experience in policy development and the ability to analyze complex information effectively. Can obtain and maintain a Baseline security clearance (mandatory).
