About the Opportunity As the intermediate accountant, you will work closely with an experienced team to build a strong foundation in taxation and compliance.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Assisting with the preparation of tax returns for individuals, businesses, partnerships and trusts.
Supporting the team with BAS and financial statement preparation.
Under supervision, assisting with tax planning and compliance.
Gaining hands on experience while working with clients from a variety of industries.
Staying up to date with current tax legislation and compliance requirements.
Ideal Profile You will be CA/CPA qualified, or working towards, coupled with 3+ years experience in an accounting firm.
A genuine interest in taxation and accounting.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, and ability to work effectively within a team.
Demonstrated experience with accounting software (Xero, MYOB, or similar).
