Randstad is currently a preferred partner with a reputable Government organisation to recruit for the below role:
Role: Payroll Officer
Location: Melton VIC
Contract: 5 month contract
Hourly Rate: $38.80 - $45.83 per hour + super
Start Date: January 2025
Key Responsibilities
Process fortnightly payroll, including timesheets, superannuation payments, and related documentation.
Support payroll-related projects to improve efficiency and compliance.
Respond to payroll enquiries promptly while adhering to policies and procedures.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal staff.
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Collaborate with the HR team to ensure payroll aligns with organisational policies and employee agreements.
Requirements
Proficient in payroll processes, policies, and legislative requirements.
Strong knowledge of HR programs, enterprise agreements, and employment-related legislation.
Demonstrated experience with payroll systems; familiarity with Authority (Civica) is advantageous.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related field OR equivalent payroll experience.
