Your new role As an APS 6 Procurement Officer, you will ensure the integrity and efficiency of procurement processes, contributing directly to the success of strategic initiatives. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Overseeing procurement governance and compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules. Supporting procurement processes for high-value and complex contracts. Driving continuous improvement in procurement strategies and practices. Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships across various departments. Contributing to ethical and transparent procurement practices. What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience in managing procurement processes within a federal government or equivalent setting. Strong knowledge of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and relevant legislation. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. A proactive approach to driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position is exclusively open to Australian citizens who can obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance. Successful candidates will be offered a non-ongoing opportunity with possible extension for the right candidate.
