Role Purpose
Deliver a consistent, high-level standard of training by providing employees with the required knowledge and skillset for Ramp operations, which includes health, safety and security obligations.
What you will be doing
Coordinate and conduct induction training for new employees for both JQ Domestic and International, emphasising safety and security, WHS, customer service and client airline standards.Conduct and coordinate classroom & on-the-job training and familiarisations for all JQ Domestic & International functions.Coordinate, prepare and maintain annual training plan, training records and matrixes, ensuring compliance.Responsible for overseeing assessments and performance standards, production of training manuals/materials/training courses and programs.Evaluate staff progress, performance & development in conjunction with the Supervisors.Compile performance statistics.Complete Menzies corporate training.Complete Menzies ramp/baggage training, not airline specific.Coordinate and conduct recurrence training in accordance with company and client airline requirements.Maintain a strong safety culture within the team, driving OH&S and security awareness and compliance.Perform various administrative and reporting duties, including the operation of various communication and computer aids (DVD/PowerPoint presentations) as well as file keeping.Coordinate the training and signing off of Ramp Domestic & International staff on all equipment, processes and ground handling systems.Make recommendations on all aspects of the operation, by reviewing training plan regularly, seeking to identify opportunities to improve performance and productivity to achieve budget targets.Complete training audits and training needs analysis within the department.Ensure that all staff are training compliant as per LMS (Learning Management System) requirements.Coordinate and communicate any training updates and/or changes (including policy and/or procedural) to all.Deliver the highest possible teaching and development standards to meet our customer's SLA and achieving compliance with the customer's Ground Handling Manuals.Additional duties/projects as requested by department manager or delegated representative, including working operational shifts where required.Undergo any training required for the role, including training with all Menzies Aviation Airport authorities, third party (external), AQIS, ACS and OTS policies and procedures.Regular liaison with relevant authorities including participation on relevant committees and working groups.Conduct training for International and JQ Domestic.Ability to work a 7-day rotational roster.Safety, Security, Wellbeing, and Compliance:

What we are looking for
Previous training experience will be an advantage.Must have JQ A320/1 and JQ 787 skills.Sound computer and word processing skills to produce or update training manuals; create and update spreadsheets and maintain training records.Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and also demonstrated ability to relate to diverse stakeholder groups.Ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to multi-task.Minimum 3 years aviation experience.Leading Hand experience is essential.TTT preferable.Certificate IV in Training will be desirable but not compulsory.Diversity
