Ramp Staff - Esperance Airport (No Aviation Experience Required)About the role:Our client is a leading provider of ground and air cargo services, handling multiple flights per week at various locations throughout Australia.
They are now seeking a reliable and enthusiastic candidate to join their team at the Esperance Airport.
While prior experience in aviation is highly desirable, full training will be provided for the right candidate.This position will see you as part of a small team performing ramp operations and eventually check-in, undertaking all tasks associated with the ground handling of aircraft for our client airlines.
You will initially receive training in basic functions of your role, and over time be progressively introduced to more complex functions and procedures.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of different roles.Tasks you may be involved in during a shift include (but are not limited to):Baggage and freight handlingOperation of a wide range of powered and non-powered airport equipmentLoading and offloading aircraft holdsAircraft marshalling and dispatchOperating aeronautical radio systemsPassenger check-in and boarding gate operationsPreparation of manifests, flight documentation, and freight manifestsAssisting passengers with special requirements to and from the aircraftResolving mishandled baggage issuesCabin cleaningStandard housekeeping responsibilitiesMaintaining accurate flight records.Requirements:Fluent in spoken and written English.Have a valid WA driver's licence and reliable transport to get to and from Esperance Airport.Reliability, punctuality, and excellent time management.Proficient computer skills.Be physically fit (able to lift 32kgs).Able to obtain an ASIC card (requires federal police background check).Willing and able to work rotating shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays.Pass drug and alcohol tests.If you meet the requirements and believe this job is for you, APPLY NOW via Seek or call Carla on 0447 775 714 if you require more information.
