About the opportunity Due to an increased workflow across the Northern and Southern operations, Westgold's Diamond Drill department are on the lookout for experienced Raisebore Drillers to work on a permanent 2:2 roster. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating vertical or inclined shafts in underground mining for ventilation, access, or ore extraction purposes. This role is essential for developing underground infrastructure safely and efficiently.
The role includes Operate drill rig as per Westgold's procedure requirements, ensuring that operations are always safe Complete daily shift reports and submit to immediate Supervisor before end of each shift Perform preventative maintenance on drill rigs and equipment Perform breakdown repairs to drill rig components, reporting any damage as required Conduct routine cleaning of the drill rig equipment and vehicles Attend required training to successfully complete required duties Perform workplace inspections diligently and at every required timeframe What do I need?
