About the roleWe are currently seeking positions for Rail Welders for Rail Operations in the Hunter Valley NSW.
This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.Key responsibilitiesEnsuring welding duties meet required standardsDetermining the method and sequence of welding operationsPreparing rail to repair and maintain rail tracksCompleting required documentation such as welding and adjustment returnsAbout youARTC Heat & cut materials using Oxy - LPG equipment for the rail industry certification.Current Thermit Welding Certificate, or equivalent.Weld rail using aluminothermic welding process.Certificate 2 in Rail Infrastructure.Hold a valid Construction Induction (White Card) & Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.Valid Drivers Licence Class 'C' or 'HR'.Ability to pass a CAT3 medical, comprehensive functional and Drug & Alcohol Screening.Hold a current Sydney Trains CON number (desirable).BenefitsWe work hard to create an environment that brings out the best in our people.
